Inside Sales Specialist (ISS)

Excellent opportunity for an energetic, focused, assertive and mature individual with sales and sales support experience. Our Inside Sales Specialists require a high degree of activation, tenacity, perseverance and goal-oriented behavior to be successful. Primary responsibilities include generating revenue, contacting potential customers, generating product demonstrations for our outside sales force, closing business, exceeding sales quota and working in a fast-paced high-tech environment.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience desired. Experience in manufacturing or a high-tech environment is a plus. Excellent On Target Earnings (OTE) income potential

Perform duties to provide inside sales support for assigned geographic region, generate and schedule product demonstrations, maintain customer contact and generate revenues, working within the limits of standard or accepted practices.

1.Contact potential customers to qualify leads. Provide required information and schedule product demonstrations. Determine demonstration requirements based on a range of factors including applications, geography and staff availability. Communicate information concerning demonstration requirements and coordinate schedules with potential customers and outside sales staff as appropriate. Document records regarding potential customer in customer relationship management computer tool (CRM).
2.Develop and communicate recommendations for advancing the sales process. Communicate with outside sales staff to obtain required data and prepare sales quotations based on specifications provided. Apply appropriate pricing and discounts based on established pricing policy and obtain authorization for special pricing or other non-standard elements of quotations. Review quotations for accuracy and issue to potential customers.
3.Generate revenues by providing ongoing customer contact and by closing opportunities.
4.Assist with lead generation through cold calling and obtaining referrals in conjunction with marketing staff and other resources to ensure that assigned territories have sufficient leads and opportunities to generate demos and sales.
5.Receive and review purchase orders. Validate against quote and confirm details with customers. Prepare appropriate documentation, both printed and electronically inside of CRM; attach purchase order and electronic customer records and issue to accounting for review and credit authorization
6.Facilitate communications among the sales team. Make recommendations for improving the sales process, approach and systems.

Common office equipment, computer, and related peripherals. Office software including Microsoft Office products, CRM, etc.


1.Minimum of 3-5 years inside sales experience REQUIRED. High-tech and/or manufacturing experience PREFERRED.

2.Demonstrated successful track record in high-tech inside sales

3.Proficient in developing and maintaining long-term customer relationships

4.Demonstrated proven effectiveness at working in fast-paced technical product environment REQUIRED

5.Demonstrated ability to attain and exceed quotas on a regular basis

6.Ability to establish excellent working rapport with outside sales reps, other team members and customers

7.Permanent resident permit needed when applicable

8.Germany based position – Functional bilingual German /English is a plus.
