Wunder is seeking a Growth Manager - CRM (m/f)  who will raise the bar in Wunder’s email, push and in-app communication, accelerating our expansion and playing a leading role in the development of a world-class marketing team.

As as a growth expert you will be responsible for the strategy, execution, and analysis of programs across the user lifecycle, aimed at driving engagement and growth of the global Wunder carpool community.

Within an agile working environment you will collaborate closely with the growth and product teams to launch initiatives primarily focused in on-boarding as well as engagement and retention. You will also have the opportunity to support other growth team members on strategic initiatives in acquisition. In the end, you will make a personal impact on our community’s global expansion, which in 2016 will share over 1 million rides!

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, and execution of programs aimed at improving user engagement and driving growth with an emphasis in onboarding as well as engagement and retention.
  • Independently drive rapid experimentation to improve conversions in onboarding, engagement and retention using mobile CRM tools, including writing your own copy and developing basic graphic design when needed
  • Based on learnings from conversion tests, partner closely with members of the product team to optimize and automate app-based communications
  • Identify and own key metrics necessary to establish customer-focused and results-oriented campaign strategies
  • Perform quality control checks on user marketing communication to ensure stability of templates across client/browser/device combinations
  • Collaborate with other growth team members in other areas of the user lifecycle including for example the acquisition topics: performance marketing, retargeting and app-store optimization
  • Occasionally support the leadership and product teams on strategic initiatives which may include areas such as monetization, pricing or payments
Requirements
  • Good experience in growth at all stages of the customer lifecycle with deep knowledge in onboarding and retention including conversion optimization, mobile CRM and lifecycle marketing
  • Experience designing, implementing and analyzing A/B and multivariate tests ; “test and learn” mentality
  • Strong project management skills: ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders, prioritize high impact activities and keep complex projects moving forward especially with product teams
  • Obsessed with knowing the customer: experience with applying consumer insights to help optimize the product experience  
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, startup environment with a bias to action
  • Strong graphic design, English copy writing and basic SQL skills are preferred
  • Experience with Localytics and MailChimp as well as an understanding of marketing to community oriented marketplaces a strong plus!
